FAQ

Expert Platform Questions

  • Is Arbor Mulch free for homeowners?

Yes. Homeowners request free arborist mulch or wood rounds at no charge. Tree companies use these deliveries to avoid landfill dump fees, so the exchange costs you nothing.

  • What's the difference between a public and private request?

A public request is posted to the marketplace where any subscribed contractor in your area can claim it. A private request arrives through a contractor's branded link and routes straight to that company's pipeline, hidden from competitors.

  • How does driver management work?

Contractors add drivers from their CRM. Each driver gets an app login for $5 per seat, sees only the routes assigned to them, and uploads proof-of-drop photos before a delivery can be closed out.

  • Can homeowners track their delivery?

Yes. Every request returns a tracking link that follows the drop from Submitted through Claimed, Scheduled, En Route and Completed. Once delivered you can rate the crew.

  • What materials can be requested?

Arbor mulch, wood mulch and wood rounds. Loads are organic material straight from tree work, so composition and volume vary by job and may include small twigs and leafy debris.

  • How does billing work?

Homeowners never pay. Contractors pay a $49 monthly base plan plus $5 per active driver seat, billed through Stripe and managed from the Billing panel in their CRM.
